Branch Manager
Who you are:
McKinley is seeking a Branch Manager to join our team preferably with experience in one or more of the
following areas: construction, project management, facility maintenance, or logistics management. This
position is responsible for the management of the branch which includes office and field personnel, expenses,
safety/risk control, vehicle fleet, building maintenance, and inventory. The successful candidate will foster a
positive environment with a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the
business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales target achievement. We
expect this individual to rise to the challenges of a dynamic and fast-moving company.

Responsibilities:
• Increase the overall productivity of the branch by implementing relevant employee training, budgeting
effectively, eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities.
• Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Provide coaching on job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and
appraising job results
• Direct all operational aspects of branch
• Meet or exceed goals and metrics
• Maintain fruitful relationships with current customers and network to improve the presence and
the reputation of the company
• Work closely with and assist project management team as needed
• Ensure required maintenance and overall upkeep of company vehicles is performed
• Oversee building/site upkeep and general maintenance
• Attend branch progress and scheduling meetings
• Provide updated progress reports and updated schedules as appropriate
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
•Monday through Friday
What You Must Have:
Education:
• Minimum: 4-year college/university degree or equivalent work experience
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, operations, or construction
management
Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of management experience in related
field
• Requirements: All job offers are contingent upon a NEGATIVE DRUG SCREEN TEST and a Current
CA Driver’s License with a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations – preferred, not required
• Understand the financial components of various construction projects – preferred, not required
• Must possess proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills and be able to
communicate effectively with a wide variety of people with a diverse background of all levels and
disciplines
• Must be able to develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers, clients, and others in contact with the job
• Technical Skills
• MS Office
• Sage Accounting – preferred, not required
• Salesforce – preferred, not required
• Must type a minimum of 50 wpm while multitasking

• Demonstrated strengths in negotiations
